After being enthralled with the birth processes of her own children's births, Tina set out on a journey to assure birthing women unconditional support during their birth experiences. She truly believes that there is a right birth for every expecting mother, and that being presented with wholehearted, unbiased support and education will leave a lasting positive impact on the lives of both mother and baby. Aside from having three of her own children to have given her the most valuable maternity, birth and postpartum experience possible, Tina has received extensive professional, vocational and practical training via ProDoula and CAPPA to prepare her as a birth and postpartum doula. In addition, Tina has a Master's Degree in the education field and over 12 years of Early Childhood education under her belt. Tina lives in the west suburbs of Chicago with her husband, three boys, and big black lab. When she's not thinking or talking about birth, she enjoys reading and spending time outside with her family.
Kelsey Haliti, AAHCC
Birth & Postpartum Doula, Birth Your Way Childbirth Educator
Kelsey has always had a passion for supporting others. After graduating with her Bachelors in Psychology from North Central College, she and her husband found out they were expecting their first baby. It was through her personal experience of pregnancy, birth and postpartum that she found her calling in birth work. The validation that proper education and reliable support are crucial during one of the most important events in the lives of new families has been her driving force. She trained and certified with The Bradley Method® to become a natural childbirth educator and birth doula, and has since also trained with ProDoula. In addition to having top quality training experience in the birth industry, Kelsey also has personal experiences in multiple birth options and scenarios. Her knowledge of, and passion for, all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum stem from years of professional and personal involvement in the birth work world. Kelsey lives in the southwest suburbs of Chicago with her husband, two children, and German shepherd. Aside from motherhood and all things birth, she enjoys dabbling in photography and leading a holistic lifestyle.
Ashley Glaze, AAHCC
Birth Doula, Birth Your Way Childbirth Educator
Ashley trained and certified with the Bradley Method in 2013 following a passion to educate and support families in pregnancy and childbirth. She is currently adding to her knowledge and experience by becoming a certified Hypnobabies doula. She lives in Winfield with her husband and four young children. When she's not providing support to transitioning families, you can find her homeschooling her adventurous brood, reading a good book with a cup of coffee, or creating something lovely.
Birth & Postpartum Doula
It was in the physical and emotional support she personally received from her midwife in her birth experience that led Laura to this work. Laura has since engaged in multiple trainings - ICEA, CAPPA, and Hypnobabies doula to provide families with resources and top notch support. She offers birth services as well as day and overnight postpartum care. She prides herself on nonjudmental support. Laura lives in Carol Stream with her partner and two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and tending to her garden.
Hypnobabies Childbirth Educator
Kelly came to her passion in teaching Hypnosis for childbirth after taking multiple kinds of childbirth education classes herself and birthing in different ways. She was very impressed by the comprehensiveness and effectiveness of Hypnobabies and felt the pull to teach it herself to impact other families. She is passionate about improving birth outcomes. Kelly lives in Bartlett with her husband and two sons. She enjoys leading a holistic lifestyle and when not chasing her boys at a neighborhood park, she is providing inspiration and real talk with a smidge of sarcasm on Instagram at Whole_body_life.
Lauren Fallon, LCSW
Lauren picked up a DSLR at a young age and that is how her story began. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Simmons College and owns and operates a photography business. She has been offering a wide variety of photography services for over 10 years now but in photographing Kelsey's homebirth, Lauren found a passion she couldn't step away from. She truly enjoys working with mothers and their babies in all forms. She has a photojournalistic style to her work that does not disappoint - capturing moments as they are, with no fabrication and little editing, She lives with her husband, two sons and pets in Barrington. Lauren leads an active lifestyle and you can usually find her on the soccer field or building relationships with her family and friends.
In nearly completing her Masters degree in Psychology, Laura had an epiphany that she was on the wrong path and needed to pursue her dream in photography. Years later and with a flourishing business under her belt, she can confidently say she made the right decision. She feels extremely honored being a part of such an incredible experience with growing families. Laura's style is eclectic - she is comfortable capturing candid photos in nature or posed photos in her studio and she prides herself on that flexibility. She lives with her husband, two sons, and pets in Channahon. This active, homeschooling family can often be found enjoying numerous sports and outdoor activities or engaging with animals of all sorts.
